Our Executive Team
Magauta Mphahlele
Founder
Magauta is a registered debt counsellor and court-advised mediator, with extensive experience in credit and consumer protection, including the Consumer Protection Act and the National Credit Act. Magauta aims to promote a healthy and fair credit and consumer protection market in South Africa by influencing policy and legislation and empowering consumers with information on their rights and options. Magauta holds an Honors Degree in Applied Linguistics and a Postgraduate Diploma in English Education from Wits University.
Meladi Mampane
Chief Executive Officer
Meladi is an experienced Executive Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the finance and human resources industry. Skilled in Investments, Banking, Operations, People Management, Risk Management, Governance, Compliance and Strategic Planning. Meladi has a Strong business development professional with solid academic credentials including an LLB, BCom Honours (Strategic Management) and is a Certified Director with the IODSA. Meladi is responsible for the operations of Ithuseng, ensuring the entity remains sustainable.
